I’ve asked many salespeople to operationally define the ‘AI’ they’re trying to sell me (because I am a sadist) and no one has ever give me a solid definition.

Mathematician Hanna Fry recently said regarding companies with overhyped AI claims “If you take out all the technical words and replace them with the word ‘magic’ and the sentence still makes grammatical sense, then you know that it’s going to be bollocks”

Why replace if one can just insert? AI magic sounds even better that AI? P.S. Otoh, any advanced technology etc.
