The curse of disinformation is that one can confidently state an untruth in one sentence but to counter it with the same level of confidence takes a paragraph. At which point the mere fact that you're going to lengths to explain something will be lost on those originally misled.

If this were true, it means that "actual" information has no value.

While I agree, I don't see a solution except controlling the fire by cutting it off from the trees. Never let it reach them in the first place. This leads to other political arguments which never end well.

Whom to trust when even news channels and “journalists” are feeding disinformation ? Whom should we give the keys to ? Finding that thin line where we can penalise / censor disinformation without infringing on freedom of speech seems impossible

Then what do we do? Just let it all go and hope it burns-out
