Right. Trying very hard to not get audited is a good sign that you are indeed running a mafia.

This is complicated by that there are many entities that are legitimate organizations with some characteristics of a mafia. Like an olive oil import firm that also smuggles some other goods, or a pizza delivery firm where some of the drivers sell drugs. It's nuanced.
