Between China and Japan, I think the China is treasure trove of spiritual knowledge. Japanese are very good at working with their hands and are master craftsmen. All Asians are hardworking people - Vietnam, Thai, Chinese, Korean & Japanese - all of them very good.
My advice: do consider not being a raging racist, and not attributing supposedly immanent moral characteristics to ethnicities and cultures.
