Your code got me interested in JAX . I'm going to learn it:-)

I was following the thread, it didn't seem too mad.. what i've learned in jax they expose the params and state as trainable and non-trainable parameters.. which is a pytree with values from the model and optimizer.

I don't think the code was wrong, but it could be made a bit simpler and more idiomatic. I need to learn to write idiomatic JAX code. Idiomatax code?

I enjoyed your tweet, and the discussion! It shone with good faith & curiosity. I am eager to see different perspectives, esp yours. (And let's not rule out the possibility that JAX is deficient here... JAX has many weaknesses. We love to hear about them, and to try to improve!)

Because I focus on lower-level APIs, I don't have much to contribute to the substance of the discussion. But I'm interested to hear how people write this kind of code (using any and all libraries).

You should write some Rosetta Stone code. Keras vs Tensorflow vs Pytorch :-)

Hi there! I know that JAX is amazing, but the learning curve seems a lot. How do you recommend approaching and learning it? Would love to know that
