  A cynic and nitpicker like me would say the same thing in different words: There is no purpose( we know of) in life. Invent a purpose to give some meaning to it( I know easier said than done).

  Not sure. I'll bet that having time thoughtfully allocated for it inhibits aspects of creativity that require more diluted, or spontaneous engagement. Also, unnecessary routines are pretty boring imo.

  I’ve mulled over similar thoughts when I go for walks. There is a faint anxiety I feel when I realize there isn’t enough time to invest deeply in experiments and such since it would detract from progress I could be making towards my career + family. I hope to not become boring.
