Not long ago some people were saying "Russia and Canada will actually end up better off thanks to climate change!", but of course, that's not true. They too will be affected by wildfires, smoke, scorching heat. Literally no part of the world will end up better off.

I was looking at a map of Canada trying to pick a climate safe property. Mountains good, but roads run along valley floors. Many roads are along major waterways as they were built along historical routes. North? It's on 
. South? First stop of northbound climate refugees.

To be fair, earth has always experienced these events, but the magnitude of the events is the result of human influenced climate change
