Gmail smart sentence autocomplete saves me something like 1-2s per email on average, which adds up to 30s-1min per day. Pretty solid productivity increase to be honest

Until AI is good enough that you'd trust it to make autonomous decisions (e.g. write your emails in your place), it should focus on pure automation. Which can't be more than one step ahead.

Fusing data will always be an issue, since it is hard to adapt to changing environment. But in many real life scenarios it is a closed environment decision and Machine will do better than human. The memory factor and calibrating data play bigger role compare to AI
