There are basically two categories of fruit: those with a hard kernel you have to spit out, and those with small seeds you could eat. When I make up my own language it will have two different words for "fruit" based on this distinction

Two categories of sky: a sky that makes you feel like seeking shelter, and a sky that makes you feel like metamorphosing into a bird and soaring in it. The words for them may change depending on your mood

Three kinds of deep learners: those who go to NeurIPS for the conversations, those who go NeurIPS for the parties, and those who don't go to NeurIPS.

The two names already exist. The first category is called a "drupe" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drupe  The second a "berry" (which technically includes bananas, watermelon, tomatoes, eggplant). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berry

It's usually the case that my original ideas turn out to be very unoriginal, no surprise here

So the categorization leads to an interesting question - How do you know it? What are the methods of knowing? Eyes know color, nose knows smell & tongue knows taste. For humans, the methods of knowing are common & thus the words envoke similar meanings (though in approximation).
