Good for them because there is actually no AI, only glorified statistics.
Statistics and statistical learning is definetely a major and important part of machine learning (godays major branch within AI). But way off the whole truth. ps. AI is by the way a deceptive term. We need a term that account for smartness w/o inviting to misunderstanding.
