Very basic cognitive mechanisms can produce very complex behavior. Can't answer your question from one example alone -- the only real test is broad adaptability. Are the bees going to be able to similarly cooperate across new tasks involving different behaviors?

Yes. I believe they can. Same as plants, can grow, and appear in road surfaces. Dont underestimate the power and knowledge of nature

I saw a wasp rescue another wasp that had its leg stuck in a crack in some siding. It was 100% a rescue operation, stuck wasp was there for a few minutes when hero wasp flew nearby, saw stuck wasp, flew up to it. PULLED it out of the crack and they both flew away.
