The fact that it's an order of magnitude easier to compose music by playing with both hands on a piano keyboard than by writing down the notes (even with the same immediate audio feedback) is a strong statement about the power of embodied cognition

Modern software like
@ableton makes it faster but you definitely have to have the idea in your head already. If you're trying to come up with something on the fly keyboard is easier, sure. -

But if you go to the painstaking process of building a model in your head that abstracts this embodiement it becomes surprisingly efficient. Like encoding all in a block and sending to your body instead of communicating with each part separately
