Developer tools should be about solving problems, not about features and specs. End-to-end productivity, not checkbox matrices.

End-to-end productivity is a lot harder to achieve that just ticking feature boxes. It requires holistic product vision instead of design-by-committee, feature-driven development. It requires saying no a lot more often than you say "yes, we can add that".

Exactly, who cares about flashy things that adds nothing relevant but features that will increase productivity regardless how simple they might appear to be. The goal should always be to turn the complex into simple.
