      The stuff *you* are made of isn't so much cells as it is information. Your cells are a disposable encoding layer, renewed over time. What gets propagated through spacetime isn't a specific set of cells, it's your information.

          Because the molecules that preserve and propogate information best are the ones that survive. Life is just a bunch of molecules that got really good at replicating.
