I have been a bit curious how efficient and useful mass transit interacts with spread of airborne viruses like COVID. I suspect I picked mine up on the metro in Madrid last March. I am guessing good contact tracing and better overall awareness are necessary to offset the danger

Are dense cities really energy efficient? Many people don’t want to live in dense cities, if not for work. Dense cities are also correlated with hour long commutes and suburban sprawl. It’s time that we look at energy efficiency alone without “economic growth” candy
