The speed at which I accumulate open tabs in Chrome is alarming. I have to declare tab bankruptcy every couple days

So true, and a RAM / CPU hog ... after many years, I moved to Firefox last month and never looked back. But still too many tabs, though. I often start a new window for related things, like a project, research, etc. though have been known to have a tab open for a year.

Me too. Sometimes the bankruptcy’s forced by Chrome crashing, or a rogue tab I can’t identify consuming all the memory. Super curious to try

The “Close Tabs to the Right” option helps me stave off bankruptcy a bit, but in the end bankruptcy is the only choice. It is destiny.

I used to use OneTab as a place to move them to once they got too many. But then OneTab has a privacy issue, anyone can get your tabs by searching on Google. Now I bookmark all tabs to a folder, export the bookmarks to a file. This way, I always have all tabs stored somewhere
