Learning isn't a problem. Mnemonics can make you do that. Real question is can you successfully internalize that even when your limbic system takes over? Thats a tough one.

Read more books. Stay diligent in current research and academic papers on key areas of interest. Maybe, watch a little less football!

I would be a fantastic marketing analyst, but I’m afraid I would have to trade that for being a fantastic father. Tough call.

Not a tough call. Family is most important.

Take written notes of the interesting things I read so I don't forget them so easily. Do the exercises at the end of each chapter of the books I read. An extra cup of coffee won't do bad... but I'll keep my 8 hours of daily sleep.

I think defeating the mindset of “if I had done this 10 years ago” is a good start. Maybe just me, but that kind of thinking can be very self defeating. Just start the learning habits and enjoy the journey. But then, I’m a person who wishes they could be paid to learn.

I'm the same, I think that if I had UBI or 1 mill in the bank, I would just learn and create. Would what I learn or create be useful? Probably not. Guess that's why we have capitalism...
