  This is half true, but the worst software is too. There’s an awful lot of utter garbage that overfits its user-author’s crankiness and is unusable by anyone else. Scientific software is very prone to this.

  Is there a guide on how to begin? For beginners? I am guessing tool building isn’t for beginners but it would be good to keep an eye out for that while learning software/coding
