I'd go even further. Doing your best gives you a sense of meaning that mere ephemeral fun can never compete with!

Not true. When you start committing to something (other than your career), it loses most of its fun. A fun is done for fun, it isn't a career. Try systematically studying chess and memorizing strategies to play and good luck with the fun.

The key is to do what you love, not what you are supposed to.

Kids are great at teaching fun and how to be in a moment. If you let them lead and you are brave enough to follow.
