  Yes. And let's be clear: it turned out this way because of Republicans.The Murdochs pushed COVID denial. The president did zero (and may have actively tried to sabotage resp according to Kushner quotes). The GOP Senate backed Trump for tax cuts and judges. Blame where it's due.

  No it didn't need to turn out this way. We could have conducted challenge trials of Moderna & Pfizer's vaccines in March (which I was on record volunteering for) and started the vaccine roll out 6 months earlier and saved many of that 500k. A fact that is conveniently ignored.
