Massive commitment to education, sustained and funded for 18 years?
This is also a good take. There is a severe education deficit in this country. Without quality education there can be no collective future.

(1/n) I came from Ukraine, and right now I'm voluntarily tutoring kids in my local area. It was a disappointment to see how bad American education is, especially in math.

(2/n) they teach quadratic equations only in 10th grade. In Ukraine, it's 7th grade. In 8th grade, we were already introduced to Cantor's proof that R is uncountable, and have some understanding of cardinality and infinities.
