This goes well together with the belief that paying taxes or serving in the military is for suckers -- failure to imagine it's possible to voluntarily do something that does not directly benefit you at the exclusion of others
totally agree, not paying taxes has become "smart business" when it really should be a privilege for any business to benefit its community and not something only dumb suckers do. Hard not to feel that way when Bezos pays like 1% in taxes. The only country who could tax the rich..
