  For better or worse, I like the GOTO statement. Manager at my previous job was shocked, but also seemingly delighted to see it in use in a recursive descent parser that I wrote.

  Maybe one of the unintended consequences of this GOTO statement (as there...always...are) is that it does rehabilitate the GOTO statement in imperative languages.
