  I just listened to a radio lab theory about how fungi as it adapts to higher temperatures, is going to obliterate the advantage we had over reptiles after the asteroid hit. ( namely body heat) There's going to be an eruption of fungal diseases. And it's already started.

  Today I drove a motorbike loop around the penisula, starting up here in Sonoma then down 280 to SJ and up 101. In Mtn View/PA: dry and smoky-hot. In SF: clear and cool and bright! Maybe 24C? Marin: smoke sometimes, choppy winds, 34C-ish
