Fund the USPS, secure all voting options, block foreign interference, and inspire confidence in public statements. These are all obvious points that should be subject to bipartisan agreement.

The US government and its representatives should do everything in their power to get to a state where all parties will be confident in the fairness of the November election and the reliability of its results. The opposite is happening.

If the US is not capable of holding an election itself, I suggest a French protectorate to ensure order in the US and Macron can be POTUS until the US is ready for self determination.

I don't think Trump really cares if the election goes well. He cares that he doesn't lose. I don't think he really even cares if he wins, although he'd choose that if he could. The primary goal is to avoid losing. Undermining the entire election is an effective way to do that.

Actually the current US government has zero interest in that happening. I firmly believe that if the administration loses they won't accept the results and will not step down. Crazy right, to say something like that about the US.
