I'm struggling to see how in the near future we're going to verify any video or photo evidence in general. It's just going to get harder and harder to verify anything that doesn't have some form of digital signature, and even then, some type of digital chain of custody?

I mean, heads of state are sharing faked video, verifying their identity is kinda pointless. They are bad actors. I guess it limits the scale - it would be *more* difficult to pollute message boards and whatnot.
