Solving information hygiene is probably our biggest challenge as a society. If we can't solve this we can't solve any other problem.

If many of us can't follow simple health guidelines when our lives directly depend on it, because of politicization and propaganda, it does not inspire confidence in our ability to address climate change

Climate requires countries to work together, forget it. Only hope is clean energy that is cheaper than fossil fuels. Otherwise it was good while it lasted.

Alas. Even two weeks of lag seem to have completely obfuscated causality for most people. It's like one of those animal cognition experiments where they hide food from a chicken, and go haha stupid chicken can't reason. Except that it us: a giant distributed angry dying chicken.
