        A proprietary project for one is an open source project for another. In most cases the open source alternatives surpasses the proprietary ones. It's all about the data now 🛢️⛽

        Counterpoint: Open-source has further weakened the power of labor vs capital. The release of GPT-3 should further illustrate that “safe AI” is safe to increase the power of capital over labor

        Actually all the progress comes from the closed source apps. Companies that pay professional developers to work on a common goal, organized and concentrated make the real progress.
