Although I very much appreciate your effort, I think by overly simplifying the problem, some believe that they know deep learning, but they barely scratch the surface. I saw that some say, "I tried DL on this problem, and it does not work!" But usually, they just lacked insight!

This is an intro crash course. Judging by the amount of student's sweat when they go through it, I don't think they consider it "oversimplified"
