Having grown up in suburbia and having lived for a while in places like NYC, Tokyo, and Paris, I think suburbs and their support infrastructure are close to the worst possible way to organize human life

Europe is so much stronger in their appreciation for and insistence upon urban green spaces. They knew this stuff 500 years ago, wish US cities would do the same beyond dressed up greenways and tiny triangle parks.
