Same. I used to want a Tesla. Having seen Elon's behavior over the past couple years -- culminating in Tesla becoming an official MAGA brand -- I've reconsidered. I don't know how much my own experience generalizes, but I'm probably not the only one.
And I'm still waiting for the "full self driving" car that can drive from LA to NYC without intervention (coming by the end of 2017) and the million robotaxis (end of 2019)

I have given up on the idea of full self driving. It is unlikely in the next decade. If it were happen it would need smart road infrastructure. So only for some routes even in a decade.
