If you do not like thr government, you speak your opinion through voting, referendums, lobbying, advertising, assembly, or any other means of political expression. I don't think "threatening or intimidating legislators with weaponry" falls in that category.

rightly so and nonviolent protests are Never truly nonviolent. at some point emotion supersedes intelligence and somebody ignites unrest. small changes in crowd topology can control things from getting out of hand though
