I hope all (and more) in the old keras image augmentation will be available with this new layer based data augmentation. I also have written some custom ones subclassing the old api. Hope it isn’t hard to do the same for layer.
Are you missing something specifically? You can always write your own preprocessing layers (they're just layers, easy to create)
Looking at https://www.tensorflow.org/api_docs/python/tf/keras/layers/experimental/preprocessing?version=nightly …. Random shear isn’t there, but it is available in keras ImageDataGenerator
