Actually this is proof of the exact opposite.

Clearly the content of comic book could be made in 4D vr, but there is a better market fit with comic format (price, ease of use, time management...)

Implies the medium of comic books is inherently inferior. Compared to 4D films then maybe the films would be generally preferable, but there'd still be subjective preferences for both I'm sure! Just like books & films today.

Yeah, we’ve seen this in music from sheet music, phonographs, radio, TV, LPs, tapes, CDs, MP3s, etc. Whether analog or digital, the content mattered more than the format. And the format is guaranteed to change!

While that is 100% true, most (bad) middle-managers focus on form. E.g. beautiful content-null plots make their way in small scale corporate world.
