Being resource-constrained forces you to ship solutions that do less, or do it in a simpler way. Often, these solutions turn out to be more effective than the over-engineered solutions shipped by resource-rich teams. Resource constraints can be a design advantage.

Great example! Skunkworks are supreme yet perhaps their rareness is also necessary. The complex tradeoffs that make the rest of the ecosystem function optimally can benefit from extreme measures once in a while. Case in point, 2020. Everything will be upgraded through this
