Cumulative graphs don't have peaks, ever. A 'new cases per week' graph is more appropriate to talk about peaks or lack thereof.
You do realize you are taking about a graph that is not cumulative, right? It's a graph of active cases. At some point it will peak, and eventually go to zero.
The active case graph is the culture total infection graph minus a lagged smoothed out version of itself. You should be able to detect a peak before it's reflected in the active case numbers.
