When a scientific result of extraordinary potential arises, many scientists will try to reproduce it (and some non-scientists may try to exploit it). If after a while, they still can't, it's a pretty clear sign it was a scam.

We must mention too , that scamming will lead to an average carrier at most, if not the temporary one.

An "average" career in academia is a fantastic win for the kind of person who has no integrity and can't be bothered to do their job correctly. In the US it's a fantastic win for most people, really. Consider tenure vs people in the gig economy or who work in a service job.
