Is this perhaps an unfair comparison, considering that PyTorch has official forums: https://discuss.pytorch.org/top/weekly (~35 posts per day by my count) while TF doesn't (https://www.tensorflow.org/community/forums …)?
That is a good point! But TensorFlow also has unofficial discussion forums where technical questions are posted, as well as http://gitter.im channels; and Keras has a massive Google Group + Slack instance. Francois, you mentioned the latter was close to 10K last week, yes?
9k members on the Keras Slack, yes. But it's true that it's not apples to apples, because TF & PT are different products with different user bases and use cases. I expect TF support to be split across many different channels, because the user base is extremely wide & diverse.
For instance, there's a long list of specialized email lists in the TF ecosystem
