9 sols the last time checked! Anyway, just wondering is there any mathematical map (cellular automata type) for each task?

There's always a solution program: the tasks are solvable. Not sure what you mean by "mathematical map" (besides program)

How could people who are developing programs with protected IP take part. Could they publish results but not show code?
-
How would that work when there are programs to solve each task?

Thinking that one could describe the solutions in terms of simple operations that could have some algebraic properties. Combining with a neural network (possibly meta learning) could yield most likely solutions

Or, alternatively, other road to generalization is: given a set of task solvers (or sub tasks, or meta tasks, etc), build the solver selector. In my opinion there is where the mistery resides.
