The great thing about Twitter is that you can read live thoughts from interesting people. The terrible thing is that any random troll can @ them their brain farts. Users can choose who to follow. They should also be also to disable replies from people they don't follow.

I don't get why I am forced by the app to give a wide public platform to these guys. Being away from Twitter was psychologically freeing -- no daily insults, no constant influx of gross ignorance and stupidity and dudes being mad at what they imagine other people are like.pic.twitter.com/u04dQ1WExx

I honestly wish there was a mood filter for Twitter. I want factual and/or positive tweets. Not depressive or aggressive tweets. Someone should build this, many of us would pay for it.

Does liking more positive content on Twitter show more positive content in feed? If it did, that basically solves the problem

Choose to focus on the opposite. When I am feeling down I like to read the twitter comments on the cybertruck rollout for instance.
