  I would even say that the empirical model is very close to everyday life: observation and analysis of what we see. Difference is that we might not have the same rigor and we have multiple biais.

  In addition to that: be careful about how you interpret reality. Don’t think that the theories used to explain reality are the direct language of reality. They are models, which are valuable only with the benefits they offer.
