Line count != complexity Good code is simple code: it's findable, readable, understandable, modifiable, and testable. Very concise code, or worse, clever code, often runs against these goals.

Well, as always, balance is the key. Perl is one extreme, Golang is another. Greater line count doesn't imply greater clarity.
