    We assume that technological progress created globalization. But in many ways, it is globalization that gave us technological progress. Horse domestication, bronze, iron, gunpowder are all technologies that originated in different places and quickly spread across the Old World.

        It's a feedback loop learned by natural selection so that it can make better creatures more quickly. Natural selection itself has evolved humans have not escaped it.

        Globalization can be seen as laboratories of many technological explorations, some of which come from one of the laboratories, some from other laboratories.

        We have been “globalized” since the beginning of time. Look at the Australian Aboriginal, the Polynesians, the Vikings, the Romans, Genghis Khan etc, etc...we have always been global. The recent part of “globalization” is the new desire by limited number of people to stop it...
