That's true. 
The best ideas & products were rarely good at first, they come from countless cycles of iterative refinement. A version of this is true for people: the more willing we are to reevaluate our views and admit mistakes, the faster we learn and the further we can improve. Iterate :)

If you look at the course of history though, room for iterations tends to run out and it’s the breakthroughs that make possible further iterations and matter at the end
