rc usually means Release Candidate (ie basically the final, production release, but just to some people first to make sure nothing obvious was missed)

Oh man, I learned the hard way to ALWAYS use Virtual Environments, otherwise this happens haha But learning how to set up those environments made the whole process so much easier, now I can just scrap a messed up environment and start over again in a few minutes!
