Why is that? I didn't find the idea silly for my part...
It's 2 things that don't benefit at all from being combined, where each half of the combination gets dramatically worse as a result (worse as a road, *way* worse as solar panels, especially in terms of maintenance and efficiency). Having asphalt roads and solar plants far better

Did you know that from the start or just decided it was shit after you saw the results? Because I think some appropriate tech could work... The first prototypes using glass instead of asphalt were surely doomed to fail, I mean adherence sure was poor and the result dangerous...
