And the great thing about buying books as an adult is you can read them or peruse them occasionally or whatever with them. You are instantly smarter when you acquire one. Truth be known, very few people read their books. Some do of course.

How do you find the right balance between learning / reading / working and downtime ? Do you have a certain threshold after which you step back and “relax” ? My constant desire to learn is often detrimental: my brain is slowing down, yet I give him another book to read.

For fulltime working fathers with a desire to improve themselves through books, personal projects, etc., it often feels like a constant battle with this damned 24h limit. Human potential restrained by a clock.
