      Which is why fake news detection is actually a trivial problem (which social media has repeatedly refused to solve), similar to spam detection. No dilemma about the veracity of a given statement. Just need to check if the "Iowa Daily Post" or "GBCNews" are real, or made-in-Russia

      The co-opting and redefinition (completely successful) of the term "fake news" by the far-right is part of a long-standing pattern of using language as a weapon
