Unjustified self-confidence is very correlated with disrespecting, underestimating and stereotyping others. Assuming women couldn't possibly be experts goes hand in hand with lecturing experts about their own field

Well you did say *random* & *experience* is lacking, both unflattering would not you say? it is easy to insult, better to focus on the topic, plenty of meat there I should think, unless you are an ivory tower elite, then mixing w/ common folks is a distasteful affair I suppose

Hard thing is that some people splain to ask questions even though it doesn't sound like they are. Real problem with these situations is it is just talk. If an idiot shows up to bet at the table the non-idiots will be happy to take the money. Talk is mostly rewardless unfort.
