Ask yourself what is the bigger problem for America: Trump and his clan, or the fact that explicit racism is an effective campaign strategy

The main reason
#Trump got elected was the nomination of#Hillary by the#Democrats. Any other candidate - and I mean *any* other candidate - would have easily won against Trump. Stop blaming the voters or call them racist when it was your own political party who messed up.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

The same thing is happening in Europe. Different players, different enemies but same strategy. Hate is a powerful mechanism which triggers a sort of amigdala effect. This is the 101 of propaganda.

I keep coming back to this article, but it really gets at the heart of the problem. The GOP is appealing to the people I went to high school with who use the same kind of language.https://www.businessinsider.com/gianforte-body-slam-republicans-montana-vote-2017-5 …

I had the same question. I'm a
#NeverTrump myself, and would never vote for him. My dislike of him is so strong I switched to be a Democrat. But it's not at all obvious to me that Trump won via unconcealed racism. That sounds more like an attempt to oversimplify reality. - Show replies

Can you cite an example of racism by trump?
-
Go to his twitter, and just read it. If you can't figure it out from that, nobody can help you.

This is nonsense. Same states voted for Obama voted for Trump. It is elites like you who pushed people to vote for trump. Anybody disagrees with you are labeled racist or bigoted. What's wrong with requiring a border? What's wrong with requiring less government intervention?
-
Why does less government never lead to less military?
